About

Leah developed a passion for fine art, music, and a connection with people at a very young age. Their ability to use a wide array of mediums, incorporate style-centric content, and mine human stories in a cinematic setting, while remaining accessible to a diverse audience, has made them a director to watch out for. They showran a docuseries for Billboard Magazine, interviewing the Top 100 artists, producing over 50 episodes. Their recent animated music videos for Peaches (PUSSY MASK) and Lyn Lapid (PRODUCER MAN) have gone viral this year with over 7 million views.

Their award-winning live action short films PUSS, HALLWAY, FUNERAL and animated shorts OLD MAN, MEATWAFFLE, BOOBatary, and COOKIES have shown at film festivals, museums and galleries worldwide - from Sundance, SXSW, and Tribeca, to Criterion, Vimeo, Vice, The Atlantic, and Nowness. In 2013, they were featured alongside of Eliza Hittman and Katia Blichfeld & Ben Sinclair as 25 New Faces in Filmmaker Magazine.

When there’s spare time, they enjoy playing with their cat, Boy George, cooking elaborate meals, making ice cream, and attempting to play the Theremin (poorly).
